High-availability for uninterrupted service – SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability extension
Datalounges expertise ensures that you can utilize high availability clustering to automate application and data recovery. We build flexible, policy-driven clustering solutions to implement highly available Linux clusters and eliminate single points of failure. Servers are continuously monitored, and when a fault or failure occurs, the workload is transferred from one server to another, or the application is automatically restarted on a known working system. This helps you maintain business continuity and minimize unplanned downtime.

Rancher Labs delivers software based on open source that enables organizations to distribute and administer Kubernetes at scale, on any infrastructure cross data center, branch offices, and the network edge. Recently SUSE signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rancher Labs. The acquisition is expected to close later this year, 2020, and will bring in several new solutions into the SUSE portfolio. Rancher Labs currently delivers these solutions:
Rancher – Rancher is their flagship product and it centrally manages on-premise or hybrid clusters to ensure security and accelerate transformation. Rancher is built to address the needs of both the DevOps teams deploying applications with Kubernetes and the IT staff responsible for delivering enterprise-critical services.
RKE – RKE is a fast, CNCF-certified Kubernetes distribution that runs within containers and solves the common problem of installation complexity. With RKE, the operation of Kubernetes is automated and independent of the operating system and platform running in the datacenter.
Longhorn – Longhorn is a distributed block storage built for Kubernetes. Longhorn was started by Rancher Labs, however it is now a CNCF-governed project. When used with Rancher, Longhorn increases developer and ITOps efficiency by making persistent storage easy to deploy, and at a lower cost than proprietary alternatives.
K3S – K3s is a Kubernetes distribution for agile development in the cloud. The lightweight architecture of K3S means it can spin up a production-grade cluster in less than a minute. K3S was recently accepted as a sandbox project at CNCF.
Datalounges has certified Rancher Operators on board and is ready to get you started on Rancher solutions.
